Jesús R. Guzmán
PHOTOGRAPHER
Jesús R. Guzmán is an outstanding photographer specializing in various disciplines. Graduated from the American College of Photography, he began his career working as an art director in several Mexican agencies, where he led successful advertising campaigns for brands such as Apple, Smirnoff and the return of Formula 1 to Mexico, among others.
With a solid career in the world of editorial photography, he has collaborated with important national designers such as Abel Ibañez, Andres Gasque, Yeshua Herrera, Guillermo Jester and Vero Díaz, as well as with renowned international brands such as Fila, Noname, Rapsodia, Montelongo, among other. His work has been published in prestigious magazines such as Shuba, Volant and The Beuys, where he has also worked as a curator and editor.
He finds inspiration in the work of notable photographers such as Elliot Erwitt, Josef Koudelka and Joel Meyerowitz, who taught him to look at the small moments of everyday life and turn them into underlying visual essays, whether through color or black and white photography. For him, street photography became not just a mantra, but a way to pursue his passion.
